34th Steering Committee Meeting SCM on Warship Material Technology was conducted at NMRL on 12 June 2024, under the chairmanship of Vice Admiral Kiran Deshmukh COM, Indian Navy. The meeting was co-chaired by Dr. Y Sreenivas Rao, DS, DG(NS&M). During the event, various project proposals towards development of niche and advanced warship materials were deliberated for usage onboard IN platforms. SCM is held annually to review and promote IN DRDO synergy in-line with GoI initiatives of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Self Reliance.
