1. New Jetty has been constructed at Bharathi Dock. A portion of jetty is still under construction. The jetty is 180 M long and 16.5 M wide. The depth alongside varying from 8.6 to 10. It is pertinent to mention that maintained depth at Bharathi dock is 17 M.
2. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution and contact local port authorities for more information.

1. Maintenance dredging is in progress in Dighi port Navigational channel.

1. North end of GMB jetty reported damaged near curved portion. Underwater obstructions reported in vicinity of damaged portion.
2. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution and contact local port authorities for more information.
 

2023-06-01 111 (T) (11/23) INDIA – WEST COAST – Ports of New Mangalore and Mangalore ["55","51","42","24","212","87"]


1. The Old Mangalore Port will be officially closed for monsoon/ foul weather with effect from 16 May 2023 to 15 Sep 2023. The spherical buoy which is laid for channel marking at entrance of the channel is withdrawn.
2. All Mariners, Tindels, Owners and Operators of all Vessels are hereby cautioned to note the above warning. The vessel entering/ leaving the Old Mangalore Port after the above date are doing so at their own risk.
3. Mariners are advised to contact local port authorities for more information.
